K2’s patent-pending Spectral Braid makes another appearance in select models in the Reckoner collection. In this iteration, the tighter fiber angles are found in the midbody of the ski, with more open angles in the tip and tail. This allows for more playfulness and forgiveness in the ski's extremities while maintaining a stable and powerful feel underfoot.
Patented process that interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core for pronounced torsional strength while retaining the superior flex patterns inherent in a wooden ski.
Design developed specifically for the freestyle ski with the twin tip shape. Increases strength and durability of the sidewall. Traditional sidewall edge created at the point where the upper surface material meets 90 °. The upper material is embedded in the side edges and thus reduces the angle of the side edges, which would be otherwise easily destroyed.
