Like his "wider brother", Ripstick 106 is a ski miracle for various mountain terrains. It's great from the top to the parking lot, from the base camp to the finish line.
Plake’s Pick
The Ripstick 106 is the ultimate freeride ski for any terrain. From boundary line to base lodge, peak to parking lot, and trailhead to tailgate this ski excels in all conditions. No wonder it’s Glen’s favorite ski from the Elan collection!

Sidewall Construction features a vertically placed ABS material above the edges from tip to tail of the ski. Sidewall offers direct power transmission from the skier's foot to the edge for control and stability at speeds and provides acceleration out of the turns.
TNT technology is the foundation for building skis that are extremely lightweight, while delivering powerful rebound and a smooth on-snow ride. How did we do it? We integrated VaporTip Inserts into a TubeLite Woodcore. The end result was TNT Technology.
The TubeLite Woodcore offers incredible response and stability at a low weight, while the VaporTip Inserts further reduce weight in the tip and tail areas and improve stability for a balanced and smooth ride in any conditions.
VAPOR TIP INSERTS Vapor Tip inserts are advanced composites integrated into the tip and tail area of the ski‘s core. These inserts reduce weight and vibration, dramatically improving stability and ensuring a smooth ride even in the most demanding conditions.
To create TubeLite Technology, two super lightweight Carbon tubes are inserted into a laminated woodcore. Measuring 5mm in diameter and hollow in their construction, these tubes run the length of the ski following the arc of the sidecut.
Amphibio Carbon Line technology is a combination of innovations that provide the best balance of lightweight construction with power and performance. Amphibio Carbon Line technology elevates the asymmetrical ski design to the next level by strategically locating carbon reinforcement over the inside edges of the skis providing
more power in the turn, while carbon rods inserted into the woodcore maximize weight savings and overall stability. The end result is an extremely lightweight high performance ski with uncompromised versatility and smooth performance.
They reduce weight and increase a firmer rebound.
