ATOMIC ski Maverick JR 100-120
The Atomic Maverick JR 100-120 is a ski that’s all about maximizing fun for kids ages 5-8 as they move from the smallest skis towards full-size skis.
Bend-X Technology makes it simple for young all-rounders to make controlled turns – the special flex zone in the binding area allows the ski to bend easier. With an All Mountain Rocker for precise edge grip, easy turn initiation, and plenty of stability, it’s easy to control on groomed snow. The Maverick JR 100-120 models are wider across the board than the Maverick JR 70-90, with the shape precisely tailored to the length of the ski. This is a ski that lets kids rip up the piste with confidence.
The Atomic C 5 GW kids binding is strong and stable but also really easy to handle and light. It’s a simple system-ski binding that’s totally compatible with alpine-normed boots and also comes with an Easy Step-in to make it less difficult for little skiers to get into their bindings in the morning.

A construction without sidewalls, where the top sheet lies over the edges for top handling. The rounded Dura Cap shape is less prone to scratches and is an excellent feature for rental and demo skis due to its robustness.

SIDE EDGE ANGLE: 87°
- Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance.
- A dull edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and will skid through a turn.
- An edge that is too sharp will grab and catch th snow surface creating unstable performance.
- Our skis are prepared with a slide edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
