All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children's bindings or on ski tours.
Excellent foot design provides excellent energy retention when free running, with DIN/ISO 6-16. The Inter Pivot Heel controls the forces in the flex angle to improve holding performance and reduce pre-release.
Magnesium sole holders in the toe combinded with a Magnesium heel housing provide the solid construction for the hardest charging freeride athletes.
Whatever ski boot you wear, all Marker SOLE.ID brands are compatible with every kind of ski boot! With the SOLE.ID option, bindings can be adjusted in seconds. The secret is the height-adjustable glide plate; easy to use and of course uncompromising performance. SOLE.ID complies with ISO 5355 (high ski boots) and ISO 9523 (ski ascent boots with sole).
The DIN/ISO tip design up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the tip is inserted horizontally and with the pad at a 5° angle, the highest energy absorption is achieved to minimize the risk of premature release. The large support area optimises force transmission and allows for high loads and tension.
