SALOMON freeride ski QST 106

Rely on the 106 in any-condition, regardless of the forecast, day-in and day-out.

The icon of Salomon’s QST line, the QST 106 is a favorite across the world.
This year, we revamped the ski's shape, complimenting the classic QST layup that you rely on for power and stability.
The result? A ski that does it all with style and finesse - no matter the snow, no matter the terrain.
Pair it with skins and make the mountain your playground.

Technologies

Basalt Superlight Fibers

Basalt Superlight Fibers is a technology that uses lightweight basalt reinforcement fibers in ski construction. These fibers contribute to structural reinforcement while helping to keep the ski lightweight. Their use supports a balanced combination of strength and flexibility.
Cork Damplifier

Cork is three times more absorbing than Koroyd. Using it in the tip of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening with even less weight.
Fiberglass

Fiberglass refers to glass fibers used as a reinforcing material in ski construction. They contribute to the strength and flexibility of the structure and help influence its mechanical properties. The resulting skiing characteristics depend on the overall ski design and combination of materials used.
Freeride-Profil
Full Poplar Woodcore

A full Woodcore construction maximizes liveliness, stability and ski-to-snow contact while filtering vibrations.
Full Sandwich Sidewalls
Full sandwich, ABS sidewall construction, extending around the entire sidewall.
- Excellent energy transfer to the edge, you will have maximum control of the skis.
- Full Sandwich Sidewalls guarantees stability and precision, it enhances performance by providing good edge grip and smooth ski-to-snow contact.
Ti Binding Reinforcement

A titanal insert edge-to-edge underfoot, running throughout the ski, for maximal power and increased hard snow edging.
