Ever-changing conditions are effortless with the PEREGRINE.
The Peregrine 82 excels on both icy slopes and fresh snow, delighting experienced skiers with its performance. Thanks to the unique Völkl Tailored Carbon Tips the ski provides more agility for quick short turns in changing conditions. In addition, the 3D Radius Sidecut supports the versatility for a playful skiing. The combination of the new tip geometry plus the integrated Tailored Titanal Frame results in a more direct, precise & reliable handling with highest stability.
Marker and Völkl teamed up to construct the specific LowRide XL binding with GripWalk which allows great power transfer and edge grip due to the extra low stand height.

3D.GLASS is Völkl’s latest development to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the binding area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Reinforced sidewalls thanks to especially engineered material ABS which not only reinforces the edges but also dampens unwanted vibrations. Thanks to this construction, the skis are more stable and steady in faster ride, whether in deep snow or on hard surface. Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
Wood core of the ski is composed of the multiple types of wood for the accurate function of the particular parts of the ski. Harder wood is used especially under the binding to maintain the stifness in contrast to soft wood in the tip and tail for the optimal flexibility of the ski.
Super fast base for World Cup races.
A steel band in the ski provides very good durability, controlled flex and smooth skiing in faster speeds.
The carbon fibres applied using the Tailored Fibre Placement process (TFP for short) allow optimum control of cornering behaviour. The thickness and orientation of the fibres define the required force and energy build-up exactly where it is needed.
The Tailored Titanal Frame, which is used on the Mantra, Secret, Kendo and Kenja, is a further development of the familiar Titanal frame. With this design, the width of the Titanal topsheet can be adapted to the length of the ski and the resulting torsional rigidity as well as the required damping behaviour for the skier. The proportion of Titanal is reduced for shorter ski lengths, so that smaller or lighter skiers can also get the most out of their skis with little effort.
Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
