The Uebler i21 Z-DC 90° 2-bike carrier is the luxury version of the carrier from the premium German manufacturer UEBLER. The rack can be folded and stored as normal luggage in seconds. To attach the carrier, the car must be equipped with a towing device. The clamping mechanism has been innovated compared to all other Uebler models so that there is no need to tighten any lever, just place the carrier on the TZ and unfold, which automatically fixes it. The mechanism also has an indication of correct clamping to avoid any problems. Combined with the low weight of the whole carrier, this makes the Uebler i21 Z-DC 90° carrier a true market leader among tow bar bike carriers.
Anexcellent aid is the integrated Distance Control (DC) parking system, which alerts you to potential obstacles when reversing. Obstacles are unmistakably detected and signalled visually and audibly. This electronic parking assistant is automatically activated when the vehicle is put into reverse and the standard distance warning is switched off. No special cable connection to the vehicle is required. The receiver display simply plugs into the cigarette lighter or into a socket on the dashboard.
The carrier is equipped with a 13-pole electrical plug, which can be changed to a 7-pole plug using an adapter, see related items. The rack is recommended for transporting e-bikes with robotic frames up to 115mm diameter for round tube, 120x80mm for rectangular tube or 95x95mm for square tube. note: The tipping point is still not sufficient for the new Mercedes Benz Vito with the original fixed tow bar.
