Aircon is Atomics most advanced cooling system. The Holo Core offers wider and more air channels through each layer of the helmet which gives hot air room to escape and vents actively suck heat away from the head.
Shocksense uses a sensor inside your helmet to transmit impact data to the Atomic Shocksense App. It determines whether you need to replace the helmet and can send an SOS alert, as well as your GPS location, to emergency contacts. Atomic Shocksense is a fully integrated impact sensor for your ski helmet, offering state-of-the-art technology to detect the location, force, and severity of helmet impacts. Shocksense records impact history on its own dedicated smartphone app to provide a clear picture of your helmet’s condition. The Atomic Shocksense app also knows when your helmet has had one knock too many and needs to be replaced. And because high-speed skiing comes with higher-risk falls, Shocksense features an emergency alert function that notifies your chosen contacts if a crash stops you in your tracks — giving you the peace of mind to push your limits with confidence in your equipment.
This unique "egg-carton" construction creates an extenden crumple zone for maximized shock absorption. It also comes with ventilation holes so it´s cooler and lighter. This means up to 30% higher impact protection than industry safety standards require.
In-Mold helmets are constructed directly in the mold. The EPS foam is molded into the PC shell, which results in a very safe and light contruction.
