Thanks to the combination of a Honeycomb core and poplar wood core, the skis offer a user-friendly flex, low weight and a responsive feel. The construction is designed to support an efficient glide and smooth energy transfer with every stride.
The skis are compatible with the TURNAMIC® system and integrated IFP plate, allowing a natural ski flex and excellent snow contact.

The ultra-lightweight honeycomb construction provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The core combines low weight with sufficient strength, delivering a dynamic and predictable ski response.
The result is efficient energy transfer, stable performance during each stride and a lively skiing feel without unnecessary weight.
- ACTIV CAP
The Activ Cap construction combines the required torsional rigidity with a smooth and forgiving flex from tip to tail.
This allows the ski to remain stable and easy to control in a variety of snow conditions, while maintaining a smooth and predictable feel.
- NUMERIC FINISH
The precisely finished base provides a consistent structure and supports a fast and smooth glide.
Numeric Finish contributes to optimal contact between the base and the snow and helps provide consistent gliding performance in different conditions.
- SKATING DOUBLE GUIDE GROOVE
Two guide grooves in the base help the ski track more precisely and improve stability during skating.
The skier benefits from more confident ski control during both the push-off and glide phases, supporting a smoother and more efficient skating technique.
- TURNAMIC® PLATE / IFP
The integrated IFP plate is designed for the TURNAMIC® system. The construction allows a more natural ski flex and excellent snow feel.
The TURNAMIC® system also allows the binding position to be adjusted according to the skier's needs and current snow conditions.
Ski Construction and Characteristics
ROSSIGNOL DELTA SPORT SKATING combine a performance-oriented construction with an emphasis on easy handling. The result is a ski that provides sufficient stability for beginner and intermediate skaters while still allowing fast and efficient skiing.
The 40/44/43/43 mm sidecut is optimized for skating and provides stable ski tracking on a prepared skating track.
Suitable Snow and Surface Conditions
DELTA SPORT SKATING are primarily designed for prepared cross-country ski trails with a dedicated skating lane.
They perform best on:
- firm and compact prepared snow
- regularly groomed skating tracks
- freshly groomed corduroy snow
- typical winter conditions ranging from firm to moderately soft snow
- both flat and more varied terrain with mild to moderate elevation changes
Thanks to the Activ Cap construction, the skis provide good stability even in changing snow conditions.
They are not designed for deep, ungroomed snow or for classic skiing in a classic track.
