The roof tents of the Columbus series in different sizes and lengths, with smooth, clean and aerodynamic lines, are identical in shape and design and can be perfectly installed on passenger cars.

Opening the tent is really quick and easy thanks to special gas springs that lift the top while keeping the fabric properly stretched. When open, the car roof tent features a large rear opening that can be opened in 6 different ways (see accompanying pictures)

3. Half closed at the bottom, top half mosquito net
4. Same as in example 3 only in reverse
5. Almost completely closed with a strip of mosquito netting
6. With stable window that can be blacked out from the inside

Fabric - Airtex® is used for the Columbus range of roof tents and is a high quality techno fabric manufactured in Germany. This material is waterproof with a moisture transmission rate of 440 g/m² for 724 hours.

Thenew Air Cap Climate is an anti-condensation device and is located at the top of the tent fabric.

The hard shell roof tent is 100% fibreglass in white or black. As the fibreglass shells are handmade, different tent weights may occur. (Since the roof tents are handmade, weight and size variations are possible within normal tolerances (+/- 10%).
