- At 350g it’s the lightest alpine touring backpack we’ve ever made, also tough and tear-resistant with a feather light but durable coated ripstop fabric.
- It’s loaded with features for top-level competing including Speed Ski Carry to attach and detach your skis on the run with your pack still on your back, inner-lined crampon and skin compartments you can access without taking your pack off, and reflective logo prints for night sessions.

AVALANCHE SAFETY GEAR COMPARTMENTS
The special compartments for avalanche protection equipment - store shovel and probe - in easily accessible compartments in the main compartment of the backpack.
- Velcro fasteners ensure that the contents do not slip.

- A water-resistant, quick-access storage compartment, accessible without unpacking the backpack.

Thanks to the various modular parts, the Backland UL 16+ can be made even lighter if required: The ultra-light 16+ L version is perfect for short, fast tourings.
- If more storage space is needed, the main compartment can be expanded to 20 liters with a flick of the wrist.
- Attachments for skis, ice axes and helmets can be attached as required.
- The 500ml drinking bottle ensures that you stay hydrated.
- And when it's time for trail runs and hikes, the Backland UL 16+ transforms into an ergonomic, secure-fitting all-round and running backpack.

- Fit and ventilation are equally essential for skimo racing and running.
- The Backland UL packs combine the elements of a running vest - such as the anatomical shape of the back element - with equipment for ski tours.
- Even fully loaded, the Backland UL 16+ is stable on the back and is very light.
- It doesn't matter whether you're on a fast ski tour or trail running - the backpack fits perfectly.
- It offers enough storage space for food and thanks to the integrated soft bottle with a volume of 500 ml, liquid is provided on tour.

SECURE SPEED SKI CARRY
The Backland UL backpacks are designed for maximum speed, not only when walking, but also when packing or unpacking.
- With the Secure Speed Ski Carry - carrying system, skis can be quickly attached or detached while the backpack remains on your back.
- The intuitive attachment system uses a loop for the ski tails and a stainless steel hook integrated into the backpack for a reliable diagonal fixation on the backpack.
