  The basic feature of merino wool is its warmth, or the ability to trap heat.

  Furthermore, merino wool is able to absorb moisture up to 30% of its volume. Compared to polyester, for example, this is many times more. The moisture in the wool is easily warmed up, so there is no uncomfortable, chilly feeling when sweating.
