Völkl Rise Up 82 W

For the first time, Völkl has integrated the 3D Radius Sidecut, derived from freeride and all-mountain skis such as the Mantra and Peregrine, into a touring ski. This design combines three different radii that flow smoothly along the entire length of the ski. This means that the arc behaviour is adapted to the dominant waist radius depending on the edge angle. The result is smooth handling at high speeds and an absence of instability, even in challenging off-piste conditions.
The multi-layered wood core makes the ski incredibly lightweight while ensuring reliable downhill performance. A full-length side edge gives the ski stability and durability. The Rise Up 82 also features a Smart Skin Clip system that is compatible with both Tech Fibre and Smart Glue skis.

P-Tex 2100
P-Tex 2100 - high-quality sintered base. It uses polyethylene balls pressed into one large and solid block, from which thin strips are then cut off. This results in a very hard substrate that is relatively porous and easily accepts wax, especially after many applications. This provides an easier adjustment between the hardness of the snow and the hardness of the wax.

SMART SKINCLIP
The newly developed Smart Skinclip system allows the ski tourer to decide for himself, depending on the situation, in which direction he should pull the skin on and off. A standard snap hook at the tail end of the ski allows the skin to be attached and detached from behind. The skin can, however, also be pulled on and off quickly and easily from the front. This new flexibility is made possible by an elastic snap hook, which is also easy to grip with gloves. A subtle depression in the ski tip gives the hook lateral guidance and prevents it from unintentionally releasing the skin while walking.
