• FAST GRIP SHOVEL - FAST GRIP TAIL

  With the shovel and tail design, we can refine the aggressiveness of our skis.

  The FAST GRIP SHOVEL is a short shovel in which the contact point and the widest part of the shovel are located far forward. This ensures a faster response at the beginning of the turn.

  The FAST GRIP TAIL is designed with a contact point at the widest part of the tail, near the end of the ski. This results is a more aggressive and precise performance at the end of the turn.

• GRAPHITE SINTER BASE

  Kästle uses uncompromisingly high-quality UHM SINTERED GRAPHITE bases, like those used in ski racing, for all its adult skis.

  This creates a durable, long-lasting base with excellent glide performance and wax absorption. Our children and junior skis feature though, easy-care extruded bases.

  The HOLLOWTECH is the major product innovation that Kästle is presenting to mark the brand‘s return in 2007. The patented core technology eliminates unnecessary layers in the tip to make the shovel lighter and the ski damper. The result is quicker response, smoother handling, maximum edge grip, more precise steering and, last but not least, reduced weight. To this day, HOLLOWTECH is the most recognizable feature of every Kästle Ski. The technology has been refined many times and has received awards just as often.

  For the first time, we’ve extended material reduction across the entire shovel area of the ski, delivering exceptional weight savings without compromising performance. This advancement translates into a ski that is lighter on your feet, yet more precise in every turn. The finely tuned thickness gradient between the edge and the center of the shovel ensures seamless energy transfer, allowing for faster turn initiation, enhanced edge grip, and a smoother, more controlled turn finish.

  Our patented, key technology is unique to ski manufacturing. By removing unneeded layers in the front of the ski we make the ski lighter. This results in several advantages:

  SANDWICH-SIDEWALL CONSTRUCTION

  We adapt our Sandwich-Sidewall Construction from alpine racing and consider this technology a distinguishing feature of all of our models. This design gives every Kästle Ski optimal flex and torsional rigidity, creating sensitive and direct power transmission and ensuring total control, even at high speed.

  For the DX series we used the SEMI-CAP SANDWICH-SIDEWALL CONSTRUCTION, in which the top sheet protects the upper edge of the ski.
