PEARL iZUMi was founded for the love of cycling.

More than 60 years ago, Japanese Kinji Shimizu developed a special jersey made of functional fabric for his son Hiro, an aspiring cyclist. Since then, the company has been continuously developing and revolutionizing the design and production of functional clothing and footwear for cyclists. For PEARL iZUMi, it is not enough to simply produce cycling clothing and hope that more people will get on their bikes, which will have a positive impact on the environment. Rather, it's a matter of the heart.
