When the Lacroix brothers founded the company in 1919, they probably had no idea where it would be today: In a small workshop in the Belgian town of Nivelles, where they made leather caps and gloves for motorcyclists and pilots, a hypermodern office in a modern neighbourhood in Antwerp, where engineers have developed innovative helmets that are then sold in more than 50 countries.

In 1948, the brothers introduced their first bicycle helmet - and what began with simple leather helmets on cobbled classicstour of Flanders in Belgium, has been transformed over many years with the greatest care and attention to detail into today's innovations with applications in all areas of cycling. From aerodynamic and lightweight racing cycling and triathlon helmets to functional urban and e-bike helmets to extrememe rugged mountain bike helmets - industry leader Lazer offers top-level protection for everyone.

When developing new products, safety and comfort are always paramount - advanced design and sophisticated technologies such as Lifebeam and the Autofit system bring Lazer helmets to the highest technical level. Working with professional athletes also has a long tradition at Lazer: the first hard shell helmet specifically developed for cycling was developed in collaboration with Eddy Merckx back in 1987. Lazer continues this tradition to this day and is therefore not only world-class in terms of development but also in terms of sponsorship - and has been for more than 100 years.
