LUSTi uses proven technologies and a classic construction in its manufacturing process, which they believe has yet to be surpassed. All models feature an all-wood core made of unidirectional spruce plywood, including children’s models. In all skis, the entire core is made of wood, not just parts of it. LUSTi uses high-quality materials from the largest European suppliers, such as ISOSPORT, HEXCEL, and AMAG, to manufacture its skis.

Ski Construction:

• Top sheet—A high-quality textured polyamide top sheet is used in the production of these skis
• Laminate layers—These skis feature two biaxial and one triaxial prepreg reinforcement layers. Prepreg is a fabric that is already fully saturated by the manufacturer. Although the material is more expensive, this eliminates errors that can occur during the impregnation of the fabric.
• Titanal - Titanal is the highest-quality structural layer used in ski manufacturing, significantly improving both longitudinal and torsional stiffness. These skis feature a single sheet of Titanal.
• Core – all-wood core – unidirectional spruce and beech plywood
• Sidewalls – ABS material of guaranteed quality from Europe’s largest manufacturer, ISOSPORT, is used
• Damping – This does not refer to damping during skiing but rather to damping differences in material expansion, which helps the material hold together. Anti-vibration rubber strips 0.2 mm thick are used for damping.
• Edges—These skis feature high-quality steel edges with a hardness of 48° HRC
• Base—These skis feature a high-quality sintered racing base.
