HEAD KORE 87 Ti W
• lightweight women’s all-mountain freeride skis for carving and all-day mountain exploration
The HEAD KORE 87 Ti W is a modern women’s all-mountain freeride ski designed for skiers looking for a lightweight, easy-to-control yet stable setup across a wide range of conditions. With an 87 mm waist width, the KORE 87 Ti W leans more toward a sporty all-mountain feel while still maintaining very good off-piste capability.
The lightweight PET Wood Core with a flex specifically optimized for women provides smooth handling and an easy, progressive flex pattern without unnecessary aggressiveness. Two layers of Titanal add stability, edge confidence and a calm ride at higher speeds. Thanks to the low overall weight, the skis feel lively and remain comfortable even during long days on the mountain.
The redesigned Tip-Tail Rocker makes turn initiation easier, improves maneuverability in variable snow conditions and delivers smoother transitions between turns. A durable Hybrid Top Surface protects the skis from damage and minimizes scratches during everyday use.
The KORE 87 Ti W is an ideal choice for sporty female skiers looking for lightweight and versatile skis with an emphasis on easy handling and all-day versatility.

Freeride Sandwich Cap Construction has two layers of Titanal® along with a Karuba/Beech Wood Core in the KORE unisex models and a specifically tuned Poplar/PET Wood Core for HEAD women’s line, both providing the ultimate combination of stability and liveliness. A Flax layer and Graphene round out the construction in all models to provide our most performance driven freeride construction to date.
Graphene is a 2D material that even when an atom thick is one of the strongest and lightest materials on earth. Used zonally in a board it magnifies a board’s positive characteristics. GRAPHENE is the thinnest and lightest element ever discovered by mankind. GRAPHENE is also the strongest material on the planet, stronger than diamond and 300 times stronger than steel, all in the thickness of one atom.
Accommodates all Alpine ski boots (ISO 5355 TYPE A) plus all GripWalk ski boots (ISO 23223 TYPE A)
Provides a striking outline to the ski's look. The resin-coated flax top edge reduces chipping, while the traditional top-sheet it outlines minimizes scratches. The reduction in top-sheet material also means less plastic is used in the construction.
Recycled PET-Wood Core. This innovative core uses poplar wood with recycled PET bottle stringers. A lightweight and low environmental impact construction.
This ski is ready for PROTECTOR.
The PROTECTOR binding works with all skis with pre-mounted PowerRail or SuperLiteRail base. All flat skis work with the PROTECTOR Attack binding or the PROTECTOR SET versions.
Thanks to its FULL HEEL RELEASE function, the PROTECTOR binding can reduce ACL strain by more than 50%* in the event of a fall.
Tip-Tail Rocker is a ski profile technology developed by HEAD that combines rocker (upward curve) in the tip and tail with traditional camber (downward curve) under the bindings. HEAD uses this construction mainly in all-mountain, freeride, and freestyle skis to improve control, maneuverability, and versatility in varying snow conditions.
Our highly durable base material for getting the job done well. Not flashy, but steady and stable. The kind of base that will last for years.
