DALBELLO J Green 3.0

The DALBELLO J Green 3.0 is a children’s/girls’ all-mountain ski boot for young recreational skiers, combining a very soft flex, lightweight-oriented construction and a strong focus on the use of recycled materials. The model is designed to provide young skiers with the support they need while learning and developing their technique, while remaining forgiving and comfortable enough for a full day on the mountain.

At the core of the boot are a 30 flex and Junior Last, creating a construction designed around the needs of a child’s foot. Both the shell and cuff use Recycled DB Hyperlite, while the inside features the comfort-oriented ECOCOMFORT J liner. The manufacturer emphasizes the use of recycled materials and a design concept intended to allow the individual components of the boot to be recycled again.

The J Green 3.0 is not simply a basic children’s ski boot. It features three aluminium buckles, Traditional Overlap Construction, X-Dual Link, Inverted forefoot buckles and a Junior Ski-walk mechanism. GripWalk soles come pre-mounted, combining comfort while skiing with more practical movement when walking without skis.

Who are these ski boots for?

According to the official classification, the DALBELLO J Green 3.0 is a girls’/children’s recreational all-mountain ski boot. The 30 flex provides a very soft and forgiving character suitable for young skiers who need a boot they can flex naturally without having to overcome excessive shell resistance.

The model is particularly suitable for young skiers who:

  • are learning to ski or continuing to develop their basic technique
  • ski primarily at a recreational level
  • need a soft and easy-to-manage 30 flex
  • are looking for a children’s Junior Last construction
  • want a lightweight-oriented Recycled DB Hyperlite shell and cuff
  • appreciate the comfort-oriented ECOCOMFORT J liner
  • want three aluminium buckles for secure and practical closure
  • appreciate the Junior Ski-walk mechanism when moving without skis
  • want pre-mounted GripWalk soles
  • prefer a product with a strong focus on recycled materials and subsequent recyclability

Correct sizing is particularly important with children’s ski boots. An oversized boot is not a better solution simply because it leaves room for growth – excessive internal space reduces foot retention and can make ski control more difficult. Secure heel positioning, appropriate toe room and suitable overall boot volume are more important.

How do the boots perform on the slopes?

The J Green 3.0 is primarily focused on easy control, comfort and support for young recreational skiers. The 30 flex is very soft, meaning the child does not have to overcome excessive shell resistance when flexing forward. This makes it easier to work naturally with the skiing stance and allows the young skier to concentrate on learning the correct movements.

The three-aluminium-buckle construction helps keep the foot securely positioned inside the boot. The manufacturer also emphasizes direct power transmission and firm foot support, helping movements from the young skier to be transferred effectively toward the skis.

With its combination of a soft flex, Junior Last and ECOCOMFORT J liner, this is not a stiff junior race boot. Instead, it is designed primarily for recreational skiing, gradual development of technique and comfortable days on the snow.

How to understand the parameters

Flex 30

The exact flex index of 30 represents a very soft characteristic that corresponds to the children’s recreational focus of the model. Low resistance during forward flex makes it easier for a young skier to work with the boot and is less physically demanding than stiffer junior performance or race-oriented models.

Choosing an appropriate stiffness is especially important with children’s ski boots. A boot that is too stiff can make natural forward flex and ski control more difficult, while an appropriately softer flex supports easier movement and control.

Flex indices are not completely standardized between manufacturers. The value of 30 should therefore be considered primarily in the context of this specific children’s construction and the recreational positioning of the model.

Junior Last

The manufacturer specifies a Junior Last, meaning a shell shape designed for junior use. Unlike many adult ski boots, no specific width in millimeters is provided, so the model should not be classified as narrow, medium or wide according to adult fit categories based solely on the Junior designation.

When selecting the correct size, the actual position of the child’s foot inside the boot is important. The heel should remain secure, the foot should not have excessive room to move, and there should still be appropriate space around the toes.

Technologies

Gripwalk Premounted

Gripwalk Premounted means that the model comes with GripWalk soles already installed. They therefore do not need to be purchased separately as an additional kit.

GripWalk makes walking without skis more comfortable and natural, which is particularly practical for children when walking to the lift, moving around the ski resort or spending time away from the slope. The boots must be used with ski bindings that are compatible with GripWalk.

Traditional Overlap Construction

Traditional Overlap Construction refers to the classic overlapping shell construction used in ski boots. In the J Green 3.0, it forms the basic shell architecture and contributes to the traditional way in which the boot wraps around the foot and transfers movement.

Combined with three aluminium buckles, this creates a construction that can be progressively tightened to secure the foot. The supplied information does not specify the exact overlap geometry or provide a measured effect of this construction on stiffness, so such details should not be assumed.

X-Dual Link

X-Dual Link is one of the officially listed technologies of the J Green 3.0. It forms part of the boot’s structural concept and relates to the connection and functional interaction between individual parts of the construction.

However, the supplied information does not describe the exact mechanism, geometry or range of movement of X-Dual Link. Specific mechanical characteristics that have not been confirmed by the manufacturer should therefore not be attributed to the technology.

Inverted forefoot buckles

Inverted forefoot buckles refers to the inverted positioning of the buckles in the front section of the boot. This construction changes their placement compared with a conventional arrangement and forms part of the overall design of the J Green 3.0.

The boots use a total of three aluminium buckles, providing progressive closure and helping secure the foot. The supplied information does not specify a particular mechanism or additional protective function resulting from the inverted arrangement, so these properties should not be assumed.

Junior Ski-walk mechanism

Junior Ski-walk mechanism increases the practicality of the children’s boot when moving away from actual skiing. The mechanism is designed for junior use and allows the boot to work with dedicated walking and skiing modes.

Combined with the pre-mounted GripWalk soles, it creates a practical solution for young skiers who spend part of the day moving not only on skis but also between the slope, lifts and other areas of the resort.

The exact range of movement and detailed construction of the mechanism are not specified in the supplied information, so unsupported values should not be added.

Recycled DB Hyperlite shell and cuff

Both the shell and cuff use Recycled DB Hyperlite material construction. The manufacturer emphasizes low weight and the use of recycled materials as important elements of the J Green concept.

The aim is to combine the functional properties required from a children’s ski boot with a more considered approach to material selection. According to the supplied information, the shell and liner are made from recycled materials, while the overall construction is designed with subsequent recyclability in mind.

However, the exact percentage of individual recycled materials and the precise weight of the boot are not provided, so these values should not be assumed.

ECOCOMFORT J liner

Inside the boot is the ECOCOMFORT J, a junior liner focused on comfort during recreational skiing. The supplied information also describes the liner as thermally insulated, supporting comfort for young skiers during longer periods on the snow.

ECOCOMFORT J complements the soft 30 flex and Junior Last, creating a package designed around the needs of young recreational skiers. The manufacturer also emphasizes the use of recycled materials within the overall J Green concept.

The supplied specifications do not confirm heat moldability or a specific method of individual liner customization. These characteristics should therefore not be added.

Three aluminium buckles

The J Green 3.0 uses three aluminium buckles to close the shell and help keep the foot securely positioned. The three-buckle construction suits the character of a children’s ski boot and allows the different areas of the shell to be progressively secured.

The front section also incorporates Inverted forefoot buckles. The supplied information does not specify the exact range of micro-adjustment or additional buckle adjustment options, so these should not be automatically assumed.

J Green 3.0: a junior 30 flex with a focus on comfort and recycled materials

The DALBELLO J Green 3.0 combines a soft 30 flex, Junior Last, three aluminium buckles and lightweight-oriented Recycled DB Hyperlite construction. The result is a recreational children’s ski boot focused not on maximum performance stiffness, but on easy control, appropriate support and comfort for young skiers.

Its material concept is an important part of the model. The manufacturer emphasizes the use of recycled materials and subsequent recyclability, while the ECOCOMFORT J liner provides comfort inside the boot. The Junior Ski-walk mechanism and pre-mounted GripWalk soles further increase practicality when moving without skis.

The model is available in sizes 17.5 / 18.5 / 19.5 / 20.5 / 21.5. The manufacturer code is D2410103 and the product code is N25001683.

Why choose the DALBELLO J Green 3.0?

The DALBELLO J Green 3.0 is a suitable choice for young recreational skiers who need a soft, easy-to-control and comfortable children’s ski boot with a 30 flex and Junior Last. Three aluminium buckles provide the necessary foot retention, while the ECOCOMFORT J liner, Junior Ski-walk mechanism and pre-mounted GripWalk soles contribute to comfortable and practical use throughout the day.

A defining feature is also the J Green concept, built around the use of recycled materials and an emphasis on subsequent recyclability. The result is a modern children’s all-mountain ski boot that combines easy control and recreational comfort with practical technical features and a material concept designed with the next generation of skiers in mind.
