The HEAD Super Joy is a premium women’s all-mountain carving ski designed for sporty and experienced skiers looking for a lightweight, agile and stable ski for dynamic skiing on groomed slopes as well as in changing conditions throughout the day. With a 75 mm waist width, the skis offer an ideal combination of carving precision, stability and versatility.
The new ski shape with an extended sidecut allows for very smooth transitions between short and longer turns. The Super Joy feels light and playful at lower speeds while still maintaining excellent stability and confidence during sporty skiing on hard pistes.
HEAD places strong emphasis on weight optimization – the combination of a lightweight wood core, carbon reinforcements and Graphene technology creates an exceptionally lightweight yet powerful and stable construction. As a result, the skis are less tiring and remain very easy to control even during long days on the slopes.
EMC (Energy Management Circuit) technology actively reduces vibrations using ceramic piezoelectric plates integrated into the front and rear sections of the ski. The result is smoother skiing, improved stability and increased control in every turn.
The Better Balance system optimizes the skier’s ramp angle regardless of boot size. This makes turn initiation easier, improves natural stance and increases stability at higher speeds.

The PROTECTOR SLR 11 GW introduces revolutionary Full Heel Release technology in a lighter construction designed especially for women, lighter skiers and younger sporty riders.
Full Heel Release (FHR)
Intelligent 180° heel release:

BTR KINEMATICS
The BTR kinematics allows for constant release values in backward twisting falls. It compensates friction due to two different release characteristics based on vertical load. In the event of a backward twisting fall, the toe’s wings are pressed upward and shift to a new hinge point. This modified lever arm compensates for the increased forces, ensuring a consistent release behavior.

This ski is ready for PROTECTOR.
The PROTECTOR binding works with all skis with pre-mounted PowerRail or SuperLiteRail base. All flat skis work with the PROTECTOR Attack binding or the PROTECTOR SET versions.
Thanks to its FULL HEEL RELEASE function, the PROTECTOR binding can reduce ACL strain by more than 50%* in the event of a fall. -

With GRAPHENE we are able to manipulate the geometric profile and weight
distribution of the ski in any way we like. Depending on the nature of the ski model, the type
of skier, and the expected snow conditions, we fine-tune weight and flex distribution characteristics
to optimize the skiing experience. Never before has a ski been more perfectly
balanced or more efficient — in every model of the size run. In our new women’s line, each
ski’s weight distribution is set up for one of two categories: "on-piste" and "off-piste". -
TRP - ROLLER PINCER TOE SYSTEM
The TYROLIA Roller Pincer Toe System (TRP System) with its four rollers allows a 180° release and exact centering of the ski boot. The TRP system reduces the load on knees and ligaments and improves performance considerably.
