The HEAD Power Joy is a premium sport carving ski designed for experienced and technically advanced female skiers looking for a combination of high performance, precise edge control and maximum stability during fast skiing on groomed slopes. Inspired by HEAD’s racing DNA, this model delivers a sporty character with surprisingly smooth and comfortable handling.

The new ski shape extends the effective sidecut and provides greater versatility across different turn types – from quick short carving turns to stable long-radius turns at higher speeds. The 70 mm waist width supports extremely fast edge-to-edge transitions while maintaining strong contact and grip on hard snow.

A lightweight poplar wood core reinforced with Titanal provides high torsional stiffness, powerful energy transfer and precise edge control. The Worldcup Sandwich Cap Construction ensures excellent grip and a highly responsive sporty feel in every turn.

EMC (Energy Management Circuit) technology actively reduces vibrations using ceramic piezoelectric elements integrated into the front and rear sections of the ski. The result is exceptionally smooth skiing, improved stability and reduced fatigue throughout the day.

The Power Joy is also equipped with the Better Balance system, which optimizes the skier’s ramp angle regardless of boot size. This makes turn initiation easier, improves natural stance and increases stability at higher speeds.

BTR KINEMATICS

The BTR kinematics allows for constant release values in backward twisting falls. It compensates friction due to two different release characteristics based on vertical load. In the event of a backward twisting fall, the toe’s wings are pressed upward and shift to a new hinge point. This modified lever arm compensates for the increased forces, ensuring a consistent release behavior.

SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION

With GRAPHENE we are able to manipulate the geometric profile and weight
distribution of the ski in any way we like. Depending on the nature of the ski model, the type
of skier, and the expected snow conditions, we fine-tune weight and flex distribution characteristics
to optimize the skiing experience. Never before has a ski been more perfectly
balanced or more efficient — in every model of the size run. In our new women’s line, each
ski’s weight distribution is set up for one of two categories: "on-piste" and "off-piste".
TRP - ROLLER PINCER TOE SYSTEM

The TYROLIA Roller Pincer Toe System (TRP System) with its four rollers allows a 180° release and exact centering of the ski boot. The TRP system reduces the load on knees and ligaments and improves performance considerably.
