The KROSS Lea 1.0 in 2022 is a continuation of the thought guiding us when designing the previous generations of this bike. We coated the frame with new paint and improved many small details that contribute to pleasure and comfort of riding a bicycle.
The frame of the KROSS Lea 1.0 is made of performance aluminium. This is a special 6061 performance aluminium alloy, thanks to which the bike is stiff and resistant to damage. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many cyclists with its properties.
The Kross brand has been on the market for more than 20 years. This Polish company is already a relatively well-known manufacturer of bicycles. It mainly produces mountain and trekking bikes in variants that have been specially developed for men, women and children. The offer includes bicycles for racers as well as recreational use. Aluminium Performance 6061 means that the frame is very rigid and durable while maintaining the light weight typical for aluminum.
The coating technology using molecules on aluminum powder electrified using heat. Result is perfectly smooth material, highly resistant to mechanical damage.
We created a system of exchangeable dropouts in order to protect our frames as much as possible. In case of damage they can be easily and quickly exchanged. Screws or a special nut are used for the dropout in order to minimize frame damage.
